Well, it all depends on monthly support. I need to be at 90% to buy my plane ticket and go over there- so far I am at about 27%.

But- we are aiming for February-March!!! 

The first 6 months I will be living with a Peruvian family in a modern city called Ariquipa.

I will be in school learning the language and culture.

Once I finish school, I will be moving to Pucalpa to join the rest of my team as we make plans to enter the AMAZON JUNGLE.

Funny you should ask... Peru is known for their elaborate foods- so in the city I will eat incredible dishes made by my host family. Once I move to join my team we will eat more Americanized Peruvian dishes. Finally in the jungles, the tribe people eat anything they catch/find such as guinea pig, monkey, beans & rice, chicken, fish, tortilla...(and a lot of oatmeal prepared by the missionaries).

Absolutely with my whole heart- I can honsetly say, "nope."

This is all I have ever wanted to do since I was 8 years old. Yes I will miss my family terribly and it will be hard missing holidays and weddings... but I want to live with no regrets, and I know that this is where I need to be to fully live out God's plan for my life.

Yes, I am a single woman. Yes, I understand it will be dangerous and I am very aware that anything terrible could happen- but I know with my whole heart that God's plan is best and I am ready for whatever challenges the enemy will bring.
