November 20- A Snowy Thanksgiving
Tomorrow morning, my parents and I are headed to spend our Thanksgiving holiday with our family in Tennessee.
Seroiusly, I am so excited! Here are a few reasons why...
- Family tradition is waking up early to travel and stopping for breakfast at Chick-fil-A. (Might be our last trip before I leave for Peru.)
--I finally get to spend time with my big brother, Scott (26), his wonderful wife, Amber, and their handsome Boston Terrior, Slater. (This happens twice a year, maybe.)
- This will be my last opportunity to say "goodbye" to my dad's side of the family. (4 brothers and 1 sister= many cousins)
- I need a vacation. I wake up around 7 and get home around 9 each day... I'm getting old and getting tired. Ha.
- Thanksgiving= wonderful food prepared by my country relatives. YUM.
- Much fishing to be done on our family farm.
In conclusion, I am so very thankful for all that God has blessed me with and it is bittersweet knowing that this will be our last Thanksgiving together for a few years. <3
